Leaked iPad Air 3 design images show the new iPad Air Tablet to be 0.05mm thicker and 0.1mm wider than iPad Air 2
After yesterday’s iPad Air 3 case design revelation by Macoatakara, a new drawing purportedly of the new iPad Air is put on the web by Engadget. The images provided clearly show dimension of the new tablet.
iPad Air 3 as evident from the images is has 6.15mm thickness and it is 169.6mm wide. In comparison to its predecessor iPad Air 2, the new device is 0.05mm thicker and 0.1mm more width.
Similarities in design show that the third generation iPad Air tablet would be similar to the second generation tablet that is iPad Air 2. But it would be too early to say anything for sure about iPad Air 3 as Apple has maintained silence on all the rumors.
The new images are interesting and they are getting many hits because they corroborate the claims made by Macoatakara with its leaked iPad Air 3 case designs. The new pictures confirm that the device in the design has four stereo speakers like iPad Pro. A connecting port probably for Smart Connector is clear in the design. The case designs of Macoatakara also had this cut but the cut was missing in earlier case designs.
An LED support for rear camera is clearly visible on the images and with this flash light, the new iPad Air 3 is going to be the first iPad Air tablet to get this support. It is difficult to say whether the device would fit into the case but design images confirm the potential features present in the case design.
